Every touch has its price

Layla Shaw is trying to pick up the pieces of her shattered life—no easy task for a seventeen-year-old who’s pretty sure things can’t get worse. Her impossibly gorgeous best friend, Zayne, is forever off-limits thanks to the mysterious powers of her soul-stealing kiss. The Warden clan that has always protected her is suddenly keeping dangerous secrets. And she can barely think about Roth, the wickedly hot demon prince who understood her in ways no one else could.

But sometimes rock bottom is only the beginning. Because suddenly Layla’s powers begin to evolve, and she’s offered a tantalizing taste of what has always been forbidden. Then, when she least expects it, Roth returns, bringing news that could change her world forever. She’s finally getting what she always wanted, but with hell literally breaking loose and the body count adding up, the price may be higher than Layla is willing to pay…

REVIEW
I LOVE this series! The entire time I was reading White Hot Kiss I couldn't decide which boyo I preferred but by the time I started Stone Cold Touch I just KNEW I was team Roth all the way, but it wasn't long before things happened and I was back to doubting Roth again.  Well let's just say I am full on Team Roth and I am so sorry for ever doubting him.  It's so funny because when there is a love triangle set up you can usually get a feel for how the author plans on ending it but with this series I felt like even JLA didn't know.  Turns out I was right because a few months back she posted a poll stating that she couldn't decide between Roth and Zayne and that it was up to us, the readers, to choose!! Whoever ended up with the most votes would be the one to win Layla's heart.  Good Lord I about died. In fact thinking about it now has my nerves all in a jumble!!

Besides the obvious steaminess and tension of a love situation the second book in the Dark Elements series kept me massively entertained trying to figure out where loyalties were and what was going on with Roth.  We get to know more about the characters we love and hate which of course helps to round out our opinions of said characters.  A good and a bad thing because it has me feeling completely indecisive!
I need the third book, like yesterday!
