In Red at Night, Stella and Jonah are total opposites. She's the girl with purple hair from the wrong part of town. He's a high school senior who hangs with the cool crowd. REVIEW

Why are people hating on this book?  Ok, so hate is a strong word...  But why is it only getting an average of 3.8 stars on Goodreads?? Red at Night is classic Katie McGarry! How can you hate that?!

The whole time I was reading Red At Night I was getting "She's All That" vibes even though the two aren't really like each other at all other than they both have that whole refuse to conform girl and the all american boy fall for each other thing.  The story was the perfect coming together of two damaged people finding their way in this tough world.  Their paths lead them to each other and by coming together they help each other to heal.  I absolutely loved it!

It is technically a novella, meaning a really short read,  (I read it start to finish in about an hour) but it was still packed with such impressive, serious material.  Proving yet again that McGarry is a mastermind!
